The project talks about to the beginning of an educative institution, specialized in the sustainable handling of the tropical and subtropical regions, those that are degraded in accelerated and constant way, due to its inadequate handling. The curricula that will execute initially the School will be at superior level, and will be developed jointly by the Rural University of Guatemala and the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, whose organizations for the effect has subscribed a cooperation agreement. The construction of the infrastructure and its equipment started in 2008 and will continue in 2010; the beginning of its academic activities will be in 2011.
Of the importance of the System Of Boarding in the School
In the country any organization specialized in the formation of human resources does not exist, for the handling of the tropical and subtropical regions, in internal form.
According to made studies, the student desertion in the external regime reaches 95,15%, the single one obtaining its professional graduation the 4,85% of those who enters the university.
